My Tiny Garden Design

My tiny edible landscape

My tiny edible landscape

I've been wanting to grow some vegetables for ages, but our garden design is small and covered in concrete and doesn't really lend itself to an edible landscape.

This year I decided that I was going to grow something anyway. So I gathered together as many garden containers as I could, including bread trays and shopping baskets!

I'm growing potatoes, strawberries (not doing very well as they keep going mouldy,) raspberries, broccoli, salad leaves, spinach and something else but I can't remember what it is!

If any-one can identify the light green leaves in the bread tray I'd be grateful!!

I did have an influx of snails that caused some damage. I tried picking them off, but eventually had to get some slug and snail pellets which seem to have done the trick.

Apart from the soft fruit everything has been grown from seed, so I really haven't had to spend much at all.

I love to potter round my tiny garden, it takes around 10 seconds!

Good for you!

Sometimes you just have to get out there! Good for you. I had just a couple of herbs in a pot last year. Perhaps I'll now be inspired to get out there and try something more.
