Arcadia Sustainable Design

Arcadia Sustainable Design is a garden and landscape design service based in Melbourne Australia. Our focus is on creating beautiful gardens that work for you and your lifestyle.

This produces living areas that can greatly improve the way you live. We consider where and how food can be grown and make it fun and easy to manage. Our gardens consider how children will play and interact with it. Our designs greatly prefer natural and organic elements and plants that will grow well in the conditions.

We create a sustainable landscape so that waste is limited and your comfort is maximised.

Designs are developed by first getting a full understanding from you about yours needs, preferences and dreams and we ensure that you are consulted right through the process. This ensures that you end up with a garden design that you will be excited about.

Once you have the plans for the new garden, we introduce you to one of our trusted contractors to quote and build. Alternatively you may prefer to put it to together yourself.

We have a preference in creating gardens that are rich in plantings, particularly indigenous species that with improve local biodiversity. There is also a preference for using locally sourced and sustainably acquired materials such as stone and timber.

Services :
Garden design and consultation that specialises in creating home gardens that are not only beautiful but functional and sustainable. Growing food can be a prime use for a garden and should be considered as a feature and a focus rather than something to be hidden down the back.

From an initial consultation we will put together a Concept Plan that will map the general layout of the new garden indicating where things go and how it integrates. Following further feedback from you, full planting plans and building plans are produced that will allow anyone to build and plant it exactly the way we have designed it with you.
