Russian radish salad with green onions
Here is my simple salad that has great antibacterial and antioxidant value.
This is a classical Russian salad made in the summer when green onions are in abundance.
Take 1 bunch of radishes (or pull them from the earth in your garden as I do) and chop them in thin circles.
Add 1/2 cup of chopped green onion or 1/4 onion and 1/2 cup garlic chives
Add 3 hard boiled eggs chopped in cubes
Add mayo or sour cream to taste, pepper and salt. Add dill if you have it, dill enhances the taste even more.
This is a simple salad, and everyone seems to love it.

We don't eat enough of green onions, and it's really our loss. Green onions support health health, help fight inflammation in your body, and reduce risk of cancer.
They are easy to grow, plant them once and they will reseed.
